Referrals/ Admissions

Referrals are accepted on behalf of people. Selection criteria applied includes risk assessment in secure accommodation, history of sexual, physical or emotional abuse, inappropriate sexual behaviour, multiple previous placements, poorly developed social skills, history of self-injurious behaviour, absconding, violence and aggression. Beyond these criteria, we are flexible and therefore welcome social workers and people to visit and have exploratory discussions.

The Local Authority social worker will complete and fax through a referral to Yanom Limited. The service manager will sign the placement contract, confirming placement costs will be met.
